Has anyone here ever read any of the Resident Evil novels by S.D. Perry before? They are totally awesome! I have the whole set of 7, and I've read them all. My favorite one is #3, which is called Resident Evil: City of the Dead, which is a wonderful novelization of Resident Evil 2. It goes right along with the game in terms of storyline, and it also has some filler content which may add things that are helpful to understanding the story. Pick up a copy of any of S.D. Perry's RE novels and start reading today!

I own all of the books too! My favorite has to be Underworld.
I thought it had a great element of character to character relationship plus reading about Rebecca, Leon, and Claire all in one book is awesome.

I know! I read Underworld at school when I had any spare time at all. lol.
I like the novelization of Nemesis also. I loved it when Nicholai died, although this dosen't neccesarily happen in the unless you choose it to. (in the game RE3 of course)
Do you like anything about the other books also?

I also liked the RE3 novel alot! I liked how you could read about what was going on in Nicholai's head. My top 5 Resident Evil novels are 1. Underworld 2. Zero Hour 3. Nemesis 4. City of the Dead 5. Caliban Cove

I agree! If S.D. Perry wrote the script and directed the movies as she has them wrote in her books, I would see and buy all of them. Movie adaptations of Caliban Cove and Underworld would be nice too.

I think that a movie adaption for the books to the movies would be good with real actors......maybe with CGI graphics like FF Advent Children.
That would make my day.

That would be nice. If they had an RE movie animated with CG animation like in RE:Remake (the gamecube remake of RE1) that would be fine by me. (Like when it starts out and the remaining S.T.A.R.S. are running from the cerberus after Joseph Frost dies. I'd like it to be like that. lol.

Hey. I know you like RE0, so what did you think of the novel Zero Hour? I like it pretty good, but I haven't finished it yet. In fact, its the the only RE novel I have that I haven't finished. If I would stop re-reading City of the Dead, then I could finish reading Zero Hour! lol.

I really liked Zero hour! it was one of my favorites but it did'nt grab my attention like Underworld or Caliban Cove because I knew what was going to happen.
But getting into the head of Rebecca and finding out what she was thinking was really cool.

I know. Reading Caliban Cove and Underworld was alot more suspenseful than when reading the game adaptations, although they were good too.
The only part I hated about Caliban Cove is when Karen turned into a zombie, and then was killed by Steve because he was under control of that doctor. I liked her character and wished that she lived, but hey, you can't change a good story like that! She was nice while she lasted, though.
In my next reply, I'll talk more about Underworld. The fact that Leon, Claire, and Rebecca were along for the ride made that book awesome. I loved it when Leon and David went with Henry Cole into the training areas that were the mountains, deserts, and so on.

Yeah. I wish neither Steve nor Karen died. Henry Cole dying was bad also. The only one that I was glad that died out of either Caliban Cove or Underworld was Reston. He deserved every bit of it when he died.
