I heard about the possible "killing off" of Jill Valentine also. According to wikipedia.org, Angela Ashford and Carlos Oliveira may be killed off also.
I heard that Sienna Guillory will not reprise her role as Jill, so most likely they wont hire another actress for Jill, although in my opinion they could have found a better person for the role of Jill than Sienna Guillory anyways.
So far, I believe that Claire Redfiled is a confirmed character coming to the new film (portrayed by Ali Larter). Paul Anderson adds way too many original characters and not enough game characters. He acts like it's a big treat or something to actually put a character from the games in the movies! About the only reason I own Resident Evil: Apocalypse was because they put in Jill and Carlos for the movie. (not to mention a completely remdae Nicholai Genovaef which had a different personality altogether!)

I heard about them possibly killing off Jill in the third movie, but some people claim for sure that Carlos Oliveira is going to die in an explosion during the movie I wonder how they'll go about explaining the absence of Jill in the movie, because Sienna Guillory said that she isn't reprising her role as Jill, which kind of upset me. I think they could have chosen a better actress for the role of Jill, but I thought since Sienna Guillory isn't reprising her role they wont bother with choosing someone else to replace her, though I wouldn't mind it. It seems like Paul W.S. Anderson, (the screenwriter of the films and director of the first film), tries to incorporate as many original characters into the films as possible. It seems like that he thinks that it is a big treat or something if he actually puts in a character from the games. Obviously, the first film had ZERO, ZILCH characters from the games at all. Then, when they finally put Jill in, they make Alice out-do her in every way possible, which I think wasn't fair for Jill's involvement in the storyline. It should've been Jill evading and fighting Nemesis throughout the film, not "made-up" woman Alice who gets in all the action in the films and always survives from near-death attacks and impossible feats.

Dun worry about it Anyways, Anderson has killed the RE movies completely, i dunno why he's making more, although i've heard other directors are thinking of making a RE movie that follows the games. I sure hope thats true!

I heard that also. I heard it was going to be done by Sony and the movie series was going to be called "biohazard". (After the japanese name of Resident Evil, of course.) George A. Romero wrote a script for the orignal movie, but they fired him because they didn't like it! (I read it somewhere on the web, and wasn't as bad as Anderson's incarnation, but is it really that hard to do better than him anyway? lol.) In Romero's script, this is what some of the changes were: * He made Jill the head of S.T.A.R.S. instead of Wesker. (Go Jill!) * Chris wasn't a member of S.T.A.R.S. at all, plus he was Native American and Jill's boyfriend! (wtf indeed) * Barry was the same person all-around, except Romero made him African-American. Also, Barry was shot to death by Wesker in the script, much how Enrico Marini was in the first game. * Wesker got killed by the Tyrant in the lab (In the script, the Tyrant impaled Wesker and slammed his head between the doors of the laboratory. Cool! * Ada Wong was a scientist working in the lab (according to the script) and she escaped along with Jill and Chris. (As far as I know, Romero didn't even have Rebecca as an existing character in the plot at all. WHAT! As you can see, I'm glad Romero's script wasn't picked as a movie. (Although we still have the dreadful Paul Anderson script as the real movie. BOO!!

George A. Romero's script was a lot better. I think he got the Jill & Chris relationship great! But i didn't like Chris wasn't part of the S.T.A.R.S.

I agree with you. I hope that Chris and Jill "hook up" sometime during the series.
People always try to act like that Carlos and Jill had something going on. What's your take on that?

If was in charge of making the R.E. movies, I would do the following: * Make a trilogy of the movies: the first movie would be about the first game, the second movie would be a tie-in of Resident 2 & 3 combined, (I know what you're thinking; that would be a pretty confusing movie to understand), and then the third movie would be an original movie where Jill and Leon are partners and they finally take down Umbrella with the help of the other principal characters of the series. * Jill Valentine, who I'll outright say is my favorite character, would have a bigger role than what her character got in Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I would have her as the one who Brad Vickers drops the rocket launcher to at the end of RE1, put in the first movie, and have her as the hero, or shall I say heroine, who saves the day, instead of Chris. * And finally, there would be "NO ALICE!" whatsoever in the films. What more needs to be said?
