How come you never see the lab monster(chimera?) in other RE titels?. I originally thought it was a pretty cool creature especially with its killer moves like drop down and cut your neck. Did capcom screw this monster for any reason?. (not saying they did)

I like the Chimera's as well and i'm glad we see more of them in the Deadly Silence game! I hope they make a return in future games

i like chimeras too , too bad i dont have deadly silence so i dont get to see alot of them

The chimeras in Rebirth were wicked creepy lookin. In the archives it said they were the genes of that of a fly spliced with a human... creepy

that is prettu strange ..really i never really cared for the chamairas that much. capcom probably didnt spend to much time putting them in other games because they probably didnt get alot of attention like some ofthe other monsters did.

The Resident Evil Archives book says that the Chimeras were considered a failed experiment by the research staff at the Spencer mansion, and that all work on them had ceased prior to the contamination of the facility.
Or something like that. I don't remember exactly.
