Ah that sucks! If I were you I'd go ahead and buy a new Gamecube or if you were going to buy a Wii then go ahead and skip the Cube and go for the Wii.

I've got the Wii, got it when it was first released lol I've been playing the other RE Gamecube games on it, i guess i could get my scores using the Wii.

hey just wondering....is there a slot where you can put a Gamecube Memory card?
because that would suck if I returned my gamecube and then bought a Wii not knowing I can't use a GB memory card.

If they make conventional controllers for it, I'll consider getting a Wii... just for RE: UC. (that nunchuck thing is just too hazardous)
As for my highest score in RE4 Mercenaries -- 151,502!
