Which is your favorite RE movie? Is it the 1st, 2nd, you like them both equal, or do they suck?

They also suck because Jill's characteristics are downplayed during Apocalypse. They make her seem weak, and make Alice rescue her at the church.

Of the first 2 I liked the first one best. I do wish they would have stayed truer to the games. But as a zombie movie it was pretty decent. You just have to not compare them to the games because besides a few characters and the location, much was changed. As a zombie movie it was good, as a RE movie not so much.

Personally I like the first movie because I'm a fan of the actress who plays Rain - Michelle Rodriguez. Alice annoys me and the only reason I put up with the second movie is for Jill - as watered down and unlike the Jill I know and love as she may be. I actually wish they hadn't invented new characters for the films - the way they did with Alice. Alice seems to be sort of the "Mary Sue" character. ( For anyone who doesn't understand the reference a Mary Sue character is an invented character - predominatly based upon the writer (in the case of Fanfiction) who appears able to do everything and have everyone love them and save the day constantly.) It annoys me a little. I don't mind Milla Jovovich but her character my gosh... I haven't seen the third film so I cannot comment on that. But lets just say I would have prefered a more game based film.

They're equal for me.
I liked the first one because the Hive definitely reflected a parallel with the Spencer Mansion in the first game.
The second one... because of Jill, of course! But as Andrew already stated, her characteristics were downplayed when compared to Alice, which really bothered me. That, and the complete 180 of Nicholai's character, too.
While I do like Extinction, it would definitely be my least favorite because it took the viral outbreak too far, IMHO. The addition of Wesker was definitely a strong point, and Ali Larter's portrayal of Claire, while a bit too much influenced by Sarah Conner, was decent but not satisfactory. I, myself, still prefer video game Claire, though. Jill's my favorite, but I've got a bit of a soft spot for redheads.

^ Oh see Im not over keen on Ali Larter. Especially as Claire Oh well... I still think more game characters should have been used... maybe the male ones other than Carlos *ugh*. Oh Jensen Ackles would have been a wonderful Leon ha ha... if not just for my personal happiness!

Given the fact that the T-virus could infect just about every living thing, and their being no cure for it, most of the world would have been turned into the zombies. I felt the way they handled that to be pretty good. Claire seriously annoyed me. While I like Ali Larter as an actress, the material she had to work with was not good. To me they seemed to change her whole character. The other thing I didn't care for about Extinction was the total lack of any reference to Jill or Angie. If you wanted to know what happened to them you have to read the novelization, which does tell you what happens to them.
