Personally, I like Wikipedia.org. It is where I get all my insider information about Resident Evil at. You should look up Resident Evil: Extinction on that web-site. They have tons of information regarding the cast, crew, and the script so far of the movie. Also, they have some information on where to find clips (albeit very short) of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Also, check it out for the latest RE5 info.

Wikipedia may be good in explanation or details but u don't know what happen and the true side of the staff in wiki.
u can try edit their details, no matter where u find wrong details and change back real details, they will blame u for altering theirs. and they will even block u from changing theirs, they only trust their own amendments, no matter it's not really the truth, they are not accepting ppl's corrections.

Can't say i'm a huge fan of it.. It's cool they have that much info for stuff but ya know, it could be better. Not everything they say is in fact true.

I hate wiki people. They always yell at me for assorted reasons. Because they only think that they are the best, but they never tolerate others, they never tolerate and never accepts new things or ppl changing their site details even though some detials are not right.

I've been a registered Wikipedia user for some time (under my present username), and I can say for sure that they do have some extremely strict editing standards which hopefully may change in the near future. Especially their policy concerning the need for cites, which is understandable if the topic is something academic like the history of quantum mechanics or something, but "I've played this game a million times and I know such and such is wrong" on something like the Resident Evil 3 page should, indeed, be perfectly acceptable as a cite. Oh, BTW, no apologies needed in the case of the above hater comments because I take no offense at all. Wikipedia is, indeed, clogged with mean-spirited individuals as already stated. I personally believe that I'm an upstanding guy and make it a habit to treat people with respect even if there's a disagreement, simply because that's how I want to be treated. And everybody here on Darkness has been warm and welcoming to me, so I promise, on my Spartan honor (I'm not Greek, but I live by the ancient Spartan code of honor -- which may sound cheesy to some people, but I knew all about the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae Pass years before the movie came out), to treat everyone, current and future members, with utmost respect. I'm not trying to sound preachy, that's just my outlook on life.

Weeell... I like Wikipedia. I have no issue with it - although it should not be used to do your Law assignments My law lecturer has a habit of adding false information to try and trip people up - well one of them has. I didn't take his module this year - but I reckon he probably shouldn't alert people to the fact he does it if he is trying to catch them out. Ha.. I get quite a lot of useful information about Tv shows , general information - especially the Roman history part is good. I used that for my Roman Law history research - of course checking it with other sources but it was very detailed and very helpful I agree though that the citation standard is only relevant for certain topics. For example I play Tomb Raider and I feel I've played it enough times to know what is right and wrong about a level for example. So as said above that should be enough.

I've not used Wiki too much. I've run across it a few times when doing searches for things. While the info provided is interesting and sometimes even useful, you need to check it out first because as some of you have already mentioned, there are mistakes and wrong information on them.
I can't comment on how they treat those who have tried to edit their stuff. I've never done so.

Believe me, that's probably best.
The Ada Wong page has some punk (in place of the much more profane word I'm thinking of) calling everybody a certain 3-letter word pertaining to homosexuals for thinking she's beautiful.

Can't you turn them in for harassment or some type of Terms of Service break? Most sites have a disclosure that they don't allow profanity on their sites.

I've sent messages to Wikipedia's so-called beaurocrats (or however that's spelled) asking them if I can delete stuff like that or not, but they never respond.
