Well it's kinda hard to get members on account that every RE fan already belong to other RE forums.

Well, i have some personal issues with the new wave of RE fans that RE4 brought to the world right now, reason why i haven't been around the forum or main site lately. Besides, i really cant see this forum going anywhere. I agree with Ryan.

it's not easy to attract people to join, they must have their own incentive to join
force they to join is useless. they will still go in future.

Ryan hit the nail on the head so to speak. Most RE fans already belong to one of the long established boards, which in my opinion suck. The people on those sites (I won't name names) are rude and inconsiderate. A person can't ask a question without someone putting them down and "flaming" them, because they feel said person should know the answer. On those boards you can't have an opinion that differs from them or you are also flamed into quitting the site. Which by the way I am glad to see doesn't happen here.
And Linda also has a point. These new RE4 fans think it is the greatest thing since toilet tissue and refuse to see that RE4 did not "make" the series. That happened with RE1. It is the "Classic" games that are the meat and potatoes of the series. They had it all, great story, good game play, and they were actually scary and creepy. RE4 while it may be a good game (I didn't like it but many do.) in my opinion added nothing to Resident Evil, except to turn it from a survival horror game into an action shooter.

Yeah see, thats why i dont go to the bigger RE boards. They REALLY don't like newbies either i've noticed. They seems to think 'cause they've been there longer they know better.
I'd NEVER let this place get like that. The reason why i created my own forum in the first place.
And i'm not gonna start on the RE4 fans or i wont stop lol.

I don't go to them either. It only took a little looking at them to see that most were rude and boorish people. That kept me from joining them, because if I have one pet peeve it is rudeness... I can't tolerate it. You can have a difference of opinions and not resort to rude behavior to get your point across. I am very glad you did make this site. There aren't enough "nice" RE forums out there. And I know exactly how you feel with the RE4 fans... I am the same way

Hey,everybody. I've been an RE fan since way back in '96,so I'm one of the older generation who grew up with zombies and hunters, not ganados and gigantes. I've played and beaten just about all Resident Evil games aside from a select few of the side stories and like to think of myself as an RE guru. I figured I'd join this forum as well, since I'm already on both Scarlett's and Ryan's respective forums.

Hey everyone I literally found this site by chance whilst googling Rebecca Chambers so yay I have to say I've not played RE4 so...I considered it but it looked erm... different. To be honest Im a new-ish fan. I played the original games back when they first came out but I was always more into Tomb Raider at the time. But now after a cheap purchase of Code Veronica a few years ago I'm a very big fan of the series. In respect of longstanding boards being inconsiderate and rude - I tend to agree.. not just for the RE fandom but across the board of every fandom I can think of. I tend to like the smaller sites these days.. so yeah. Hi

I'd advertise the site on other forums I frequent if possible, but my siggies are all full with other stuff that needs advertising, like small forum banners and even a PC game modification I'm helping to build.
But if a line opens up, Darkness is currently a no. 2 priority.

The few large ones I am a member of are graphics forums, and in most cases, I'm not active but am a member for the resources. It seems the larger a board is the ruder the people are. Most of the forums I belong to are small. I like it that way, they're generally kinder.
